I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Madeleine through an equally amazing vet. This together with our insurance cover (I would have paid myself if I had to but great it was covered!) has meant we have our girls living in harmony. Completely out of the blue and reasons still unknown, our already slightly anxious British short hair was freaking out and hissing and growling our her half sister. She was hiding and so distressed, started having diarrhoea and this did not get better over the subsequent weeks. One on the fanatic vets saw her and suggested looking to a behaviour vet, before considering medication. She had done her research and suggested Madeleine and I am so grateful she did. My insurer was also so supportive and covered the costs of the home visit package, as well as feliway and medications (for trips to the vets and to the cattery). Madeleine was so thorough put forward lots of recommendations to get Lily back on track. It did take time and she will always be a nervous cat, but I honestly thought I was going to have to choose between my precious girls if things didn't get better. ​We would highly recommend Madeleine. Our cat Lily is highly strung and nervous of just about everything. Madeleine came to the house and spent considerable time going over all the aspects of the cause and the cure. And the latest curative treatment recommended and that we are working with has made a considerable difference to Lily's passing blood in her urine. I booked a consultation with Madeleine as I adopted a nearly blind elderly stray cat and wanted to help him as much as possible.  Madeleine gave me lots of helpful advice on toys,  care, environment etc which was very helpful in trying to help the little fella adjust to being inside and sadly losing his sight.  I was unsure at first whether I needed a cat behaviourist but am very pleased I had a telephone consultation with Madeleine-it proved invaluable in trying to give Freddie his best life considering his restrictions. When I moved house and my rescue cat (Marge) started behaving aggressively, I reached out to Madeleine who provided instant reassurance, advice and support.
